Delivery Information

We pride ourselves on our fast and efficient dispatch of orders, which is one of many factors that have enabled us to build and maintain a loyal, happy customer base. If goods are required for UK mainland next day delivery, please call to ensure goods are in stock. We are unable to process orders or deliver on UK Bank Holidays and Weekends. All deliveries are dispatched via signed for courier and will require a signature upon receipt. For Account customers we offer a local delivery service on our own dedicated fleet of vans (shown as VIP Delivery). Please contact us for an accurate delivery price. Courier deliveries are between the hours of 8.00am – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. Some couriers may be able to give you a timed delivery slot, but we cannot guarantee this.

Orders placed on Weekends or Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day.

If you are unable to receive your delivery, the items can be left with a neighbour or in a safe place, (at your risk) just let us know. If we are unable to deliver, the courier will leave details to rearrange delivery. We may need to make an additional handling charge for the re-return and delivery.

Click and Collect Service

Coolstop offers a “Click and Collect” service. Please select “Click & Collect” from the delivery options. Select your chosen pick up location along with your pick time from the ‘preferred delivery’ option. The selected branch will then process your order and look forward to fulfilling it with a smile.

Deliveries

All delivery times and dates are estimates. We will try our best to meet the delivery estimates we have given you but shall not be responsible for any failure to deliver ordered products within these stated time frames. We will let you know if we cannot deliver your products in a timely manner as soon as possible after order placement and give you the opportunity to either wait for the products or cancel your order. If you choose to cancel your order, we will give you a full refund. We cannot be held responsible for any third-party charges incurred due to non-delivery of an order, or orders that have not been checked upon delivery. We will always endeavour to make one single delivery to you wherever possible to minimise any inconvenience. This means that when your order contains a mix of products with different delivery lead times, the longest lead time will apply to the whole order. However, when you place an order containing a mix of products this may not always be possible.

Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website or any other medium, we will send an e-mail to confirm that we have received the order. All orders are subject to these Terms of Use and our Standard Terms & Conditions. Orders placed through our website represent an offer to purchase a product. It is accepted for each product when we send you an e-mail to confirm that the order has been received. We reserve the right to reject any order for any reason.  This includes orders where we suspect fraudulent activity, or any orders where the incorrect delivery charges have been made. Should there be an error with any delivery charge, we will contact you to notify you of this error.  Any orders where incorrect delivery charges have been made may be cancelled by us and your payment will be refunded. All orders are subject to stock availability.

Defective/Damaged products on delivery

In the unlikely event that a product is faulty or is delivered damaged we will exchange the product or provide you with a full refund provided that you advise us of the fault with 48 hours of the product being delivered to you. To arrange collection of your product please call us.

Please ensure that the number of boxes/pallets received correspond to our courier delivery note, as discrepancies of this nature cannot be rectified later.

Any discrepancy must be notified within 24 hours of receipt of order.

Unwanted Products – Returns

If you wish to return an item- please email info@coolstop.co.uk for a RMA number – stating why you wish to return the product. Once a RMA number has been given, you can return the unwanted item.

An unwanted product can be returned for a full refund within 21 days of delivery as long as it’s still in its original, unopened packaging & in saleable condition. This returns policy for unopened goods is in addition to your statutory rights and applies to purchases made in store, online or over the phone. Returns must be sent back at your own cost, please send back using a signed for service.

The original cost of carriage will not be refunded. Postage and packaging charges incurred by Coolstop will not be refunded on the return of products that are not faulty. The sender will be credited the amount for the products minus the delivery charge to us.

Separately to the 21 day policy above, and in accordance with your rights when you purchase goods online or over the phone, unwanted items can be returned even if you have opened them for inspection as long as you let us know within 14 calendar days from the day after delivery. Once you have told us you want to return an item, you should do so without undue delay and not later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your decision to cancel the order. You can examine the goods as you would in a shop but to obtain a full refund you must not start using them, install them or input any data/software. The goods must be returned in ‘as new’ condition and in their original packaging, if not, we cannot offer a refund and the goods will be returned.

Faulty Items

If your item develops a manufacturing fault – Please see our policy below.

If the fault occurs within 30 days of purchase, we will always offer you either a repair, exchange or refund depending on the nature of the fault. You must contact us by email info@coolstop.co.uk and inform us of the fault. The item will need to be returned to us for inspection.

If the fault with your product occurs within its guarantee period (normally 12 months from delivery) we will offer you repair service via the manufacturer. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault.

Please contact the office if you have a warranty claim. We do not cover the cost of warranty returns.

We do not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse, normal wear and tear or using the product on something that it wasn’t intended for. We also do not accept faults such as faulty batteries. If the batteries in your product aren’t working on receipt of your goods, then we will replace the batteries not the whole product.
